Work starts on final phase at Worcester logistics park

L to R: Steven Smith of Benniman Construction, Richard Tomlinson of Fisher German, James Irwin-Singer and Richard Bailey of St. Modwen and Tesni Thacker of Alison Young.

Developer St. Modwen has begun the build of three high-quality industrial and logistics units, totalling 8,700m², at its Nunnery Park development in Worcester.

The units form the final phase of construction at the site, which St. Modwen is expanding after obtaining planning permission from Worcester City Council in April 2019. The wider expansion of the 20-acre park is expected to create more than 130 new jobs.

Nunnery Park is already home to several leading businesses including UK Storage Company, Auto Support and Supra UK, as well as amenities such as a Kentucky Fried Chicken, Greene King pub, petrol station and convenience store.

James Irwin-Singer, Development Manager at St. Modwen, said: “The popularity of Nunnery Park is down to sustained market demand for strategically-located warehousing and industrial space in Worcestershire. Developing three further units at a site St. Modwen has continually invested in will allow us to meet the needs of potential occupiers and expand what is already a quality offering.”
