Equipment manufacturers gear up for MACH 2016

Mach160225This year’s MACH 2016, the UK’s premier manufacturing technologies event, to be held at Birmingham NEC April 11-15, will host the latest innovations in steel processing equipment.

FICEP will be previewing its full range of steel plate, beam and angles processing machinery including its best selling Endeavour, one of the fastest automatic CNC lines for drilling, milling and marking beams.

On the FICEP exhibition stand there will be a live demonstration of the Endeavour 603 DD, the advanced CNC high performance drilling, milling and scribing machine for beams.

Kaltenbach will be showing examples and technologies from its recently expanded product portfolio including two examples of its band sawing machines, the KBS400DG semi-automatic model and the advanced KBS761DG-AFC.

The KBS400DG is a heavy-duty, twin-column machine with a capacity of 400mm width x 350mm high and bi-directional mitring capability.

Powered by a frequency-controlled drive motor, the saw is said to offer versatility and reliable performance for cutting smaller section material, either as a stand-alone machine or in a full sawing line.

The KBS761DG bandsaw has a capacity of 750mm width x 500mm high, and automatically adjusts the angle of the saw blade during cutting, which is said to result in an improved blade life and significantly reduced cutting time using either bi-metal or carbide saw blades.

Alongside these machines, Kaltenbach will be demonstrating equipment and technologies on offer from its industry partners RSA, Stierli-Bieger, Zeman and Zinser.

Peddinghaus will also be present at MACH 2016, and will be exhibiting a range of steel processing equipment.
