Cellular beam software upgraded

Cellular beam specialist Kloeckner Metals UK | Westok has upgraded its cellbeam software package with the launch of Version 10.2.

The cellbeam software is typically used by steel construction engineers and designers to analyse and design Westok Cellbeams and Ultra Shallow Floor Beams (USFBs) for multi-storey construction projects.

Composite and non-composite options are available, while cambered, curved and tapered Westok beams can also be designed using the package.

Kloeckner Westok’s Design Team Leader John Callanan said: “We regularly upgrade Cellbeam and Version 10.2 of the software sees enhanced beam graphics, improved shear stud performance, direct camber input and other important upgrades and modifications.”
